A team of TEC staff led by the Director visited the following Departments/Units of University of Ilorin and an establishment outside the University.
- Director, University Health Services (UHS) on 17th November 2020. We discussed areas for collaboration towards the COVID-19 pandemic control measures. Supply of hand sanitizer and other necessary consumables from TEC was assured. Request was made for the UHS to help stock first-aid kits for TEC and also deliver occupational health talks to staff of the Centre.
- Director, COMSIT on 26th November 2020. Request was made for COMSIT to patronize our products. We also requested support for the on-campus pitching of Hult-Prize 2021 challenge.
- Director, Corporate Affairs Unit on 26th November 2020. It was a sensitization visit which sought for the unit to help publicise product from TEC. The new Unilorin-branded face mask was unveiled during the visit.
- Provost, College of Health Sciences on 26th November 2020. Major issues discussed were to explore possibility of establishing a show room at the college and for TEC fashion unit to produce ward coat and theatre outfit for students and staff of the college.
- Director, Centre for Ilorin Studies on 26th November 2020. Being neighbours, this was a familiarization visit and the request for patronage.
- Unilorin Press on 26th November 2020. The visit was to strengthen our cooperation being the site for printing of the Centre’s academic materials and stationaries.
- NISPRI on 3rd March 2021. We were received by the Director of Research, Dr. Olayemi. We had a tentative approval to take our GSE 301 students on processing and preservation of yam and other tubers, grains and vegetables. We also negotiated for 50kg fish smoking Kiln to be fabricated for TEC.
